Spider-Man Venom Sinister Six Teaser Breakdown – New Marvel Crossover Plans

hey, how’s it hanging take a closer look at those billboards
the numbers represent that the Marvel Cinematic Universe phases one through
three are now complete Marvel Studios is excited to show you what comes next
you’re gonna love this these villains that we now have in our universe happen
to be characters that are in the sinister six there may be something that
happens with that no matter where he goes the world is gonna be different for
him here’s the real blockbuster brace yourselves you might want to sit out
spider-man’s name is Peter Parker what the no more hiding yeah no more hiding one of I think our great hopes for
future films is other articulations of denim as fans the comics will no
Carnage’s the bond between Cletus Kasady a serial and the red symbiote and
so this movie will introduce Cletus Kasady hi Eddie carnage is the promise
of the venom character taken to the next level so you know going into venom you
were hoping that there’d be carnage and they delivered in a very delightful way
that made you go alright I’ll give you more of my money if you do this again welcome back everyone is Charlie we have
a whole bunch of new spider-man vs the sinister six and venom to talk about we
got a clip of Amy Pascal talking about their plans for sinister six movie I
think we all assumed it was going to happen so we’ll break that down and
because of all the news of spider-man coming back into the MCU we got official
details from Sony and Marvel on how they plan on connecting the universes because
as Kevin Feige said spider-man the only character that can jump between
cinematic universes they actually do have a plan for connecting the venom
movies and those spin-offs to the spider-man MCU movies but it gets really
technical with the way they describe it so I’ll talk about that later in the
video we’re doing a giveaway for the spider-man far from home blu-ray all you
have to do to enter is be a subscriber and leave your best theory about
spider-man vs the sinister six in venom on the video so during the spider-man
far from home bonus features there’s a scene of Amy Pascal talking about the
sinister six movie within the spider-man marvel movies they’ve done so far in a
very direct quote is there maybe something that happens with that meaning
of course something is going to happen with the sinister six because she
wouldn’t say that in an edited segment for the bonus features if they didn’t
plan on doing it at some point this isn’t commentary on the movie this
is them doing a special featurette talking about the future of spider-man
in the Marvel Cinematic Universe previously I think that everyone just
assumed from the villains that they’ve been using in that spider-man homecoming
post-credit scene with the Scorpion talking about teaming up to kill
spider-man that we’d see an MCU version of sinister six that would be different
from Sony’s taken those characters during the Andrew Garfield amazing
spider-man movies then you have the venom crew talking about all the
different versions of venom that they plan on doing now that Sony has
officially confirmed Tom Hollands spider-man venom crossover obviously
that gets into spider-man wearing the symbiote in the maximum carnage movie
with spider-man and venom teaming up against carnage but any Pascal even
suggest that Mysterio isn’t dead at the end of the movie she kind of hints at
that but part of their reason for being so ambiguous about it it was to give
themselves an out in case Jake Gyllenhaal can’t come back for another
movie for their big sinister six team-up or they just straight-up decide to not
use Mysterio but I don’t know why they wouldn’t
everybody loved Jake Gyllenhaal so much and he was fantastic as that character
why wouldn’t you bring him back for a big team-up but given all the issues
that Marvel and Sony have had since the summer it’s funny to think that this was
Marvel plan and Sony’s plan all along for these
characters to build up to a new spider-man verse the sinister sixth
movie the new sharing contract that Marvel just signed with Sony is only for
two more movies though it’s spider-man 3 which they’re starting pre-production on
really soon and shooting later in 2020 then Marvel gets to use spider-man in
one other Marvel phase four movie or one of the Disney Plus series I assume it
will be a movie they would want to go with the biggest possible audience
normally I would say that that second movie they would put him in would be
Avengers 5 but because spider-man 3 is coming out July 2021 and Avengers 5
isn’t coming out until 2023 at the earliest that other Spider Man crossover
might happen in one of the other big Marvel phase 4 movies like Thor 4 maybe
Falcon and Winter Soldier maybe Moon Knight or even black panther 2 the way
Kevin Feige spoke about Marvel phase 4 at the Comic Con panel made it sound
like it would be a little bit shorter in duration than previous phases in Marvel
phase 5 would be the big dawn of mutants x-men Deadpool in Fantastic Four
characters in the MCU it would be kind of weird for Marvel to wait for their
second spider-man appearance to that Marvel phase 5 starting in 2023 or which
every year they officially want to begin Marvel phase 5 the reason why I say
Avengers 5 probably isn’t gonna happen until 2023 is because they already gave
Black Panther 2 that plush may release date in 2022 in all their Avengers
movies have been that late April early May releases 2023 is just the next May
that’s available after black panther 2 and 2023 is the current year in the MCU
post avengers endgame but here’s another sweet detail that we
got because of all the Marvel Sony fighting last month is that Sony
secretly had plans for two more Tom Hollands spider-man films they didn’t
say what that fourth one was spider-man 3 the way the director was talking about
it before their big break up would just be a craven movie he’s an OG sinister 6
character and with him that makes 6 characters who have been members of the
sinister six team of various points so they have their team-up after spider-man
3 their original plan might have just been to use spider-man 4 as spider-man
versed the sinister six but there’s no date on that movie yet we only know
spider-man 3 is coming out 2021 but that would mean that if Kevin Feige and
Marvel wants to make that sinister six film in the MCU they need to
new sharing arrangement after spider-man 3 and whatever that other spider-man
crossover film winds up being inside the MCU
otherwise the sinister six would just be a pure Sony movie and say like 2023 two
years after spider-man 3 but where is the venom crossover in this timeline
venom 2 scheduled to come out next October they’re shooting it in November
right now they’ll do their carnage film here’s the not so secret details on how
Marvel and Sony intend on connecting the MCU with the venom verse movies it’s not
quite as complicated as it sounds but it does get a little technical they’re
referring to it as a call and answer relationship where in the future beyond
spider-man 3 when spider-man has already crossed over with venom they’ve started
to do their sinister six movie in spider-man has already done stuff inside
the venom first movies that when he comes back into a Marvel movie they will
loosely reference the events of what happened in the plot of those venom
movies in Sony will do the same thing for all the MCU spider-man films so
spider-man has this great history in the Marvel films going back to Captain
America Civil War they´ll loosely refer to plot points
from all those movies Tony Stark the glasses that he gave it would happen
with Mysterio when he crosses over with venom inside the venom movies I know
this raises a lot of questions about them canonizing venom within the MCU
but the way they talk about it makes it sound like it’ll be an easter-egg
relationship only so it will explain how spider-man in venom can team up inside
New York City and it can still be the version of New York City that we see
during spider-man far from home but you don’t have a bunch of Avengers flying
around asking about this venom and carnage character it can just be a
Spider Man adventure where they loosely reference stuff from The Avengers movies
but it’s not them saying that venom is gonna show up in Avengers 5 or anything
like that that would be them officially canonizing
venom to the MCU the reason why New York City is so important is because it seems
like they’re filming venom 2 to look like it’s happening in New York City in
the Morbius movie which is kind of a spin-off of venom right now is also
supposed to take place in New York City so Sony really wants its venom verse to
take place in and around where spider-man would normally be so
hopefully that explains a little bit more about how they’re planning on
handling venom inside the MCU as of right now the sinister six characters
they have are scorpion and vulture who are still in prison / that
post-credits scene the Shocker was also arrested after spider-man defeated him
during spider-man homecoming at the dance so even though it wasn’t shown in
the post-credits scene he’s in jail – Mysterio is currently chilling on the DL
believed to be dead temporarily in Aaron Davis aka the Prowler uncle – Miles
Morales in the MCU is still free and clear running around New York City in
Queens you also probably heard the news recently about how Tom Holland is being
credited with helping them close the New Deal for bringing spider-man back into
the MCU obviously he didn’t do it all by himself but there was a funny clip a
little while ago with the CEO of Disney Bob Iger talking about Tom Hahn he even
makes fun of him just a little bit and he said something on stage it was clear
that the fans wanted Tom back as spider-man yes it was made by Marvel and
our Marvel production team right and after d23 Tom reached out to folks who
work for me said could I please have Bob’s email address or phone number of
course I’m very protected so they were very careful and I said sure I have him
have him contact me and he did we spoke and he basically made it he cried on the
phone really no not really that he cared so much actually we care a lot about him
he’s a great spider-man he’s the best father I felt actually I felt for him
and it was clear that the fans wanted all this to happen so after I got off
the phone with him I made a couple of phone calls to our team at the Disney
Studios and then I decided to call the head of Sony and I said we have to get
we got to figure out a way to get this done for Tom and for the fans like –
divorced parents and we did they just him acknowledging the fact that a lot of
the money people at both of these companies stopped thinking about the
actual people that were involved in this deal and how it would hurt the fans Tom
Hollands phone call just reminded him of that but if you have any big questions
about what’s going on with venom spider-man crossover or venom in the MCU
just post it on the video below in all your theories about when they’re gonna
finally do their sinister six movie that they keep hyping up so much thank you
very much Amy Pascal happen to be care characters that are in the sinister six
there may be something that happens in that

Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse 2 Trailer – TOP 20 New Spider-Man Versions Breakdown

Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse 2 Trailer – TOP 20 New Spider-Man Versions Breakdown

all right let’s do this one last time.
welcome back everyone it’s Charlie this is going to be my new spider-man into the
spider verse 2 teaser trailer video there are at least 20 different symbols
that have now been found in all those interstitials they flashed a bunch of
different ones everyone spotted some of the most
obvious ones last week but now we’ve had a chance to dig a little deeper and
they’re at least 20 symbols some things that are even more than that so we’re
doing a new Spider Man giveaway all you have to do to enter is be a subscriber
and leave your favorite version of spider-man that you spotted during this
on the video so going down the list of 20 from top to bottom starting with
Miles Morales the reason why it’s red spray paint and all the logos even
though they’re different colors and styles are spray painted is because
miles whole thing is spray painting he spray-painted his new symbol on ultimate
spider-man’s costume when he also colored it black he’s literally wearing
the costume from Peter Parker from his earth that at the beginning of the
movie because Aunt May gave it to him the next shiny neon and blue one is for
spider-man 2099 we saw him during the post credit scene creating the web wear
wrist devices that allow them to travel the spider verse in the comics in Gwen
Stacy’s spider Gwen is later seen using one to contact Miles after the events of
the movie so it was implied that she got one from him and at some point he’d do
the same for the other spider people so it was kind of a given that he would
appear in some fashion during the sequel movie the raised yellow and red one is
for Cepeda man the Japanese spider-man from the 1970s to a TV show the
producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller recently confirmed on Twitter that they
were going to include him in the sequel too so he’s one of the few ones that
they’ve actually publicly said oh we’re definitely doing him he also has a giant
mech so I’m hoping that they include that it’s much bigger than the one that
you saw penny Parker with in the first movie the next one with a more hardcore
black symbol mixed with darker red is for superior spider-man Otto Octavius
he’s a version of Doctor Octopus whose body is slowly failing and as he’s
getting ready to he tricks spider-man into allowing him to swap
minds and bodies so that his mind is now in Peter Parker’s body in Parker’s mind
is now in his dying body the whole premise of the character is that he
takes his new lease on life and is determined to be a better spider-man
than Peter ever was he turned to know much more
Tech Laden hardcore spider-man that created Parker industries turning the
spider-man character into something of an Iron Man esque industrialist the next
very classic looking logo is for Peter B Parker confirming the Jay Johnson’s
version is coming back which I had hoped that he would because he was such a fun
character but since he’s coming back it’s kind of hard to say how much time
will have passed on his earth and he’ll have already had his daughter made a
Parker with his version of Mary Jane because the whole idea was that he
wanted kids now and they were getting back together so eventually they’ll
probably reference that in some way the next bright red twist on the classic
logo is for you guessed it Ben Riley I know a lot of you had wondered if they’d
ever do him at some point and if they did spider pig in the first movie and
they also talked about incorporating live-action elements like Tom Hollands
spider-man which is just nuts pretty safe bet that any version of spider-man
no matter how weird is totally on the table Ben Riley is just a clone of Peter
Parker created by The Jackal in 1975 in a story titled even if I live I die
because the whole idea was is that Peter Parker was going to have to fight Ben Riley his own clone and they were going to off Ben Riley at least originally they
had planned to so Peter Parker would have basically been himself they
wound up bringing the character back during the Clone Saga in the 90s and
everyone really liked him so they just keep bringing him back during big
spider-verse stories the big blue and red logo is for Penny Parker confirming
this she’ll be back most if not all the original characters from the first movie
will be back in some form but because they’re introducing so many other
versions like there are 20 in this teaser not all the characters will have
really big roles like they had in the first film the next red logo on school
paper is for spider-ham John Mulaney said that he had a whole
bunch of deleted scenes from the first film just swearing while he was in
character in the booth I don’t think that they put any of that on the DVD
because he said it was – not safe for work the white logo with pink is for
spider-gwen everyone knew she was coming back so no big surprise they’re also
developing a direct spin-off for her character and even though Marvel is
trying to get Hailee Steinfeld is there kate bishop hawkeye in the live-action
Hawkeye series she would still totally continue to do all the animated
spider-verse movies no big deal going back and forth between Sony and Marvel
and especially now that they have the sharing arrangement of Tom Holland
relationship between companies is a lot more amicable in Maher Sheila Ali played
the Prowler in the first spider-verse movie and he’s going to be blade in the
live-action Marvel movies going forward the next yellow on red logo with the
moon above it as you may have guessed is for Cyndi moon silk her origin story was
actually a retcon to the original Peter Parker origin story by Dan Slott in the
6-1-6 comic book universe Dan Slott wrote that when the original Peter
Parker got the spider bite the spider fell to the ground but also bit
classmates Cindy moon’s ankle before it giving her the same spider
abilities there was a live-action version of the character that appeared
during spider-man homecoming but did not get the spider bite and I believe that
Sony is also trying to develop a live-action venom spin-off movie with
her character this next one though kind of surprised me the altered logo with
the color drained out is actually for the 1967 original spider-man cartoon
that we saw in the post-credits scene so not only was the post-credits scene just
a funny moment of them recreating the pointing gif it was also meant to be a
teaser for the sequel which implies this spider-man 2099 was actually going to
that universe to recruit him for his team the next wire-mesh white logo is
for spider punk Hobie Brown he’s the earth 138 version of spider-man
originally operating as spider punk he’s justhe’s homeless teenager who was
transformed by a spider and was irradiated as part of president Norman
Osborn’s toxic waste dumping he just winds up becoming this punk rock
inspired spider-man leading downtrodden people in New York City on his version
of Earth against Norman Osborn’s venom acronym venom troops I was really
surprised to see this one was for a captain universe spider-man he was kind
of a weird character but I do remember buying this what-if comic book when I
was a really little kid just because the cover looked so crazy Captain universe
spider-man is part of this really weird really complicated old story involving
the unit power he’s infused with the you know power it’s something that actually
spins out of the Microverse which most of you know in the Marvel movies right
now is actually what the quantum realm is the reason why they can’t call it the
Microverse is because Hasbro owns the license on the Microverse in the
micronauts characters this whole captain universe spider-man just spun out of a
a story involving them I don’t know how they’re going to handle that in this
animated spider-verse series if Hasbro still owns the license on that they’ll
have to find some other way to explain how he got the UNEP hour that I know a
lot of you are excited about this next one the black and red on yellow logo is
none other than the bombastic bagman version of spider-man also known as the
amazing bagman he’s the 6-1-6 version of Peter Parker
who had given the alien costume to Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four to
analyze after the events of secret Wars so that he could just figure out what
was going on with it but also needed to help someone because
he was left without a costume temporarily he had to use one of the
Fantastic Four costumes and stick a bag over his head this one that’s read on
the altered shade of magenta is just for spider-man noir who had just discovered
color during the original movie taking the color Rubik’s Cube back to his black
and white universe at the end so just confirming that Nicolas Cage is also
coming back this bluish neon on white one actually seems like it’s for a ghost
spider which would be really cool in his reality this version of Peter Parker had
an Uncle Ben that never he became super rich super successful but also
wound up Breaking Bad he winds up bringing a bunch of alternate versions
of other spider people from universes to his absorbing their powers to make
himself more powerful until another version of Doctor Strange and the other
heroes defeated him he went to hell and then was infused with the spirit of
vengeance as penance for all of his misdeeds so he’s basically a Ghost Rider
version of spider-man then this one actually might be for the 1990s animated
series spider-man this one might be Jessica drew ultimate Spider Woman this
one seems like it’s ultimate spider-man from the spider-man unlimited animated
series in the 90s holy moly what and then this one seems
like iron spider from the Marvel Comics so this the 20 that I could find so far
a lot of people think that there might even be more than that but I think
that’s because when some of the logos transition from one spider logo to
another it kind of blends together and makes it seem like it’s a different logo
so it’s totally possible but the whole idea is they’re doing so many different
versions all these won’t have the same amount of screen time and some will be
probably just little Easter eggs that are only on screen for
while so let me know in the comments if there are any other logos that you
spotted during that teaser that you think are going to be in the new movie and which brand new one are you most excited about there’ll be more teasers for this
next year they’ll confirm more different alternate versions as people start to
ask them more questions so as we get more details I will do more videos about
this the really big stuff that’s coming up in the next couple of days is Rick
and Morty season 4 episode 1 starts on Sunday and then Star Wars the
mandalorian starts on Tuesday but that’ll be a Friday show after that
first episode so as long as you have alerts enabled for my channel you’ll see
all those videos when I post them every one click here to watch the Sony people
talk about the sinister six spider-man movie that they’re making and every one
click here for that brand new Rick and Morty season 4 episode 1 video thank you so much for watching everybody stay awesome I’ll see you guys tonight!

Deadpool Spider-Man Scene and Deadpool 3 Marvel Changes Breakdown

Deadpool Spider-Man Scene and Deadpool 3 Marvel Changes Breakdown

oh hello what are you doing
Oh I know right
welcome back everyone its charlie in honor of Ryan Reynolds finally actually
meeting with Marvel to start working on Deadpool 3 in the future of Deadpool
crossing over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies this is gonna be a
breakdown of the new details we have about Deadpool 3 as well as a history of
spider-man Deadpool crossovers in the comics some of their best crossovers
because they’ve actually been doing it quite a bit in the last 20 years even
Kevin Feige was addressing it earlier this year before spider-man far from
home came out will do a new spider-man blu-ray giveaway all you have to do to
enter is be a subscriber and leave your favorite spider-man Deadpool crossover
on the video first things first if you guys don’t know why everyone’s freaking
out on social media yesterday Ryan Reynolds just revealed that he was at
Marvel meeting for Deadpool 3 in the caption he reads that he auditioned for
a quote-unquote Anthony Stark didn’t get the part but I did get escorted out by
this nice gentleman with the Taser the reason why you’re just seeing this
happened now and why he wasn’t doing this a couple months ago after the deal
actually cleared is because they had to wait for the dust to settle there was
Comic Con there was a lot of other projects that Kevin Feige was working on
and this is just when they both had the opportunity to sit down and talk to each
other in fact this morning while I was making this video Disney just announced
that Kevin Feige is getting way more powerful within Marvel they announced
Kevin vikas new title is now chief creative officer and he will control all
story initiatives that involve visual Marvel storytelling that means all the
TV shows and all the animated shows – not just the movies there was the adult
animation Deadpool series that they almost wound up doing they’re retooling
now they’ll still do it but it’s probably not gonna happen for a couple
more years I’m touching myself today the writers of
Deadpool and Deadpool – also confirmed that Marvel would allow them to continue
keeping Deadpool within his rated R movie universe making it sound like when
he does his solo movies those will not be connected to the Marvel Cinematic
Universe even if he does reference stuff that’s happening during them that just
means the movies would be a little bit smaller you wouldn’t see a whole bunch
of Avengers show up inside of them but he would be referencing things that
happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies the thing the writers said that
they’re still trying to figure out with the Marvel creative people is how
they’re gonna handle Deadpool inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe even though
the Disney CEO and Kevin Feige did say that Deadpool would be part of the
Marvel films they didn’t really specify what that would look like but most of us
believe that that’ll just mean a more pg-13 once upon a Deadpool style version
of the Deadpool character when he shows up in other people’s Marvel movies
earlier this year when Spiderman had briefly left the Marvel Cinematic
Universe people were asking Brian Reynolds because technically he is kind
of part of the MCU even though they’re still trying to figure it out
if he would crossover with spider-man and he made it sound like it was only
gonna be headcanon going forward but then cut to a couple weeks later
spider-man comes crashing back into the MCU making it possible for them to
actually do spider-man and Deadpool inside the MCU
if you haven’t been reading their recent comic book crossover spider-man and
Deadpool has been a comic book for the last couple of years since 2016 but they
have a long history of crossing over in the comic books most of the times those
crossovers happen within the Deadpool comics though so for instance very first
really big crossover moment with great power comes great coincidence in
Deadpool vol 1 number 11 really early on during Deadpool’s very first solo comic
book in 1997 Deadpool in blind al accidentally gets sent back in time they
wind up in the 1960s in an issue of amazing spider-man number 47 so it’s
literally Deadpool walking through the events of that comic book commenting on
the action he didn’t really have any interactions with Peter Parker so it
wasn’t quite the crossover that you see in modern times where spider-man is
actually interacting and being friends with Deadpool the next time was in 2000
Deadpool almost destroying the Marvel Universe in the
you never actually wound up being published it only wound up getting inked
but then they posted the pages online so you actually did kind of get to see it
but technically it was not published as a Marvel comic book we have venom to
carnage coming up one of their next crossovers was in exile number 12 and 13
in 2002 deadpool winds up crossing over with a version of spider-man that’s
bonded to the carnage symbiote even though I never expect them to actually
do something like that in the movies spider-man Cyndi out black costume sure
but I don’t think that we’ll ever see him bonded to the carnage symbiote in
any kind of big cinematic outing the first real spider-man Deadpool a giant
crossover was actually an ultimate spider-man number 91 to 94 that was
Bendis as comic book when he was still on the title it was a very Running Man
situation where they were transported to krakoa
and the villain was broadcasting them to the Internet while they were being
hunted for sport up to about 2010 you’d see them crossover in various titles and
really small self-contained stories it wasn’t really until 2012 things started
to get really meta with the Deadpool character but his popularity was
skyrocketing so Marvel just started putting Deadpool everywhere the same way
you see spider-man in a bunch of different titles one of the first times
you saw them crossover and a TV show was during ultimate spider-man Season 2
episode 16 that was in 2013 so this goes way back before the first deadpool movie
happens i’ll cut you in for 10% so we’re gonna yeah pretty much
okay boom seriously I hate you Deadpool I know you mean love
as you can see that’s Deadpool making fun of the blatant cash grab that
they’ve turned him into in the last 10 years or so since he started to blow up
and consequently because Kevin Feige now controls all of Marvel TV they did say
that Marvel Studios would be re-evaluating the way they do all those
TV shows including all the animated TV shows one of the comics that people
point to as the first meaningful crossover that spider-man and deadpool
had in the comics was cable and Deadpool number 24 by Fabien dissuasive one of
the original creators of Deadpool the story of the actual issue is pretty
complicated but Deadpool within is looking for a Daily Bugle reporter who
just happens to be driving Peter Parker on a bridge not really thinking about
his actions Deadpool at airs Peter Parker from the car and flings him off
the bridge realizing a moment later that he probably just killed an innocent man
because it’s spider-man that he threw off the bridge though he uses his
webbing to swing back up and he and Deadpool start fighting and because this
is happening during the era of full-blown fourth-wall breaking deadpool
deadpool during their fight refers to spider-man as having Tobey Maguire teary
doe eyes am I not supposed to have what I want what I need what am I supposed to
do it was happening in 2006 so this is post Tobey Maguire spider-man so he was
just the point of reference we hadn’t quite got to andrew garfield yet and if
you are big the end of the video games like the deadpool video game or
spider-man ps4 they did have a very early crossover during spider-man
shattered Dimensions which actually laid the foundation for spider-man into the
spider verse in the comics which obviously now is a really big film
franchise this guy can somehow come back from the dead or that they gave him a TV
show they didn’t really turn their crossover into a full-blown
self-contained comic book spider-man and Deadpool
until 2016 but that recently stopped at issue number 50 so they might come back
and do another volume of that but because of all the changes in the Marvel
Cinematic Universe and because they have access to all the Fox
characters there rebooting all the x-men characters at Marvel Comics there are a
lot of changes happening behind the scenes creatively including Kevin Feige
sort of taking over all of Marvel TV and movies
so everybody post your theories about possible spider-man Deadpool crossover
inside the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe just expect him to be
a little bit like he is during the spider-man Deadpool comics which is a
little more pg-13 if you’re asking when that would actually happen realistically
I think that what we’ll see is is that the way for a really big Avenger style
crossover with a bunch of Marvel characters on screen you’ll see Deadpool
interacting with them for the first time they’ll use it as a test for some
spider-man Deadpool scenes and if they feel like it works then they’ll pursue a
bigger project with spider-man and Deadpool together but for right now it
just seems like Deadpool 3 is gonna be its own thing often its own little
rated-r self-contained universe in spider-man 3 will be its own thing
inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe if you have any big questions about
Deadpool or videos you want to request or big questions about what’s gonna
happen going forward just post them in the comments below
there’ll be a whole bunch of really cool stuff that they’ll announce in the next
couple of months I’ll name a new giveaway winner when I post new Marvel
everyone click here for my brand new Deadpool Robot Chicken trailer video and
click here for my new Rick and Morty season 4 trailer Easter eggs thank you
so much for watching maximum effort I’ll see you guys tonight!

Spider-Man Far From Home End Credit Scene – Fantastic Four Easter Eggs Breakdown

Spider-Man Far From Home End Credit Scene – Fantastic Four Easter Eggs Breakdown

hi everyone its charlie happy comic-con
a week we have to talk about some of the really big easter eggs in the spider-man
far from home and credit scenes so there’s a really innocuous moment that
doesn’t seem like a really big deal as part of the bigger and credit scene that
winds up being this huge easter egg for the Fantastic Four Kevin Feige even had
to come out recently and say something about it so it’s happening during that
web slinging scene when he’s on his way to meet MJ that I attached the clip up
at the beginning of this video so we’ll explain the scene and what it means for
the future of Marvel especially given what Kevin Feige came out and said after
everyone started talking about the Easter Egg because it’s Comic Con week
there’s a new round of that IMAX ticket giveaway all you have to do to enter is
be a subscriber and leave a spider-man comment on the video I named a new
winner at the end of this and it should go without saying but spoiler warning
for spider-man far from home if you have not seen the movie yet because we’ll be
talking about what happens during the post-credits scenes so I’ve already done
a couple videos about the end credits scenes there’s a mid-credits scene in a
post-credits scene for the purposes of this video we’re talking about something
that happens during the mid-credits scene before you get to the Jay jonah
Jameson scene where he appears in the MCU for the first time so at the end of
the movie Peter Parker confronts happy and Aunt May after they got back to New
York City about their relationship they have this funny joke about them implying
that maybe we’re just going to see where things go
maybe they’ll stay together maybe not just a joke about what the plot of
spider-man 3 might be for these two characters
spider-man’s totally grossed out he takes off because he has a date with MJ
in the new Steve Ditko suit Tom Hollands said that they referred to it as the
Bosko suit on set but I still think of it as the Steve Ditko suit because
that’s the look that they’re going for the classic original Steve Ditko
spider-man suit he swings through New York City giving us what we haven’t seen
in a long time in a spider-man movie showing just how much better they’ve
gotten at displaying the physics of spider-man I feel like they really
nailed that during this film in all of his web slinging scenes much more poetic
version of spider-man that we’ve seen in previous versions they had started to
get there it’s just a special effects have started to finally catch up with
what your imagination can come up with based on the comics but we haven’t
really seen a big web slinging scene like this through New York City that
looks amazing since Andrew Garfield’s amazing spider-man there’s a moment
during the scene when he’s across the rooftops there’s a Green
Goblin Easter Egg I’ll do a separate video about if you thought you spotted a
Green Goblin Easter Egg during this moment here then you are correct but
that’s a whole different thing we need to talk about in a separate video
little things might seem like no big deal but it takes a lot of people
working on visual effects to make spider-man swing through the city like
this they manipulate the images so much anything you spot is no coincidence
while he’s swinging his way to MJ he stops and glides through a new opening
in the newly redesigned Avengers tower with the mystery buyer that we still
don’t know about yet more about that in a second but when he swings down through
he hangs on a pulse whirls around and then lands on the ground if you look in
the background of this shot you can see a very large Construction sign in front
of that Avengers Tower that says we’re so excited to show you what comes next
and it’s really only on screen for a couple seconds so almost blinking you
miss it but there’s a one-two-three in a
question mark where the force should be so this is an easter egg for a bunch of
different things the colors of the numbers correspond to the colors of the
Fantastic Four characters in their powers the fact that the four is a
question mark is a reference to Marvel phase four coming next like you don’t
know what it’s going to be because we haven’t told you yet but we’re really
excited to tell you but it also represents the Invisible Woman from the
Fantastic Four because it’s a question mark like where did the number four go
you can’t see it because the number four is invisible like the Invisible Woman
the street corner that Peter and MJ are standing on is also very important for
this – because east 41st in-library way is just a block away from where the
Fantastic Four’s Baxter building is in the comics so I know a lot of you are wondering now
if the Fantastic Four are the mystery people who bought the Avengers Tower
from iron man in spider-man homecoming in Kevin pikeys recent comments is also
kind of important for the way you interpret this fantastic for Easter Egg
so it should go without saying that this probably does not mean that they’re
going to debut the Fantastic Four in spider-man 3 they’re not trying to tell
you oh they’re coming right up next it’s more of a winged cat comic book Easter
eggs as well as future stuff and Marvel phase 4 without any really hard dates on
anything like of course there’s going to be a new Fantastic Four movie but they
haven’t told us when it’s coming yet or who the actors are going to be another
really good example of a really cool Easter Egg like this that doesn’t
necessarily mean things are happening fried away is the venom Easter Egg yes
there is a Venom symbiote Easter Egg that happens earlier in the movie in
Venice when he’s fighting the big hydro-man monster I’ll do a separate
video about that too because it is pretty cool and it’s a nice week at the
symbiote saga in the comics but they’re not trying to use it to say that Peter
is going to be wearing the symbiote in spider-man 3 so be careful that you
don’t take a lot of Easter eggs as being super literal or them nailing themselves
into a corner about what’s coming right up next Kevin Feige recently came out
because people were asking him and there’s a sign there is the Fantastic
Four the people that bought the Avengers tower and he says you know we love to
watch people speculate on Marvel movies and find these Easter eggs but
oftentimes a lot of speculation winds up being incorrect so all he was really
saying is is that don’t assume that the Fantastic Four are the people that
bought the Avengers Tower that could still be anybody so if you’re still
holding out hope that Oscar is the people that bought the Avengers Tower is
still possible that they could use that because it does sound like based on the
end credits with Jay jonah Jameson outing spider-man spider-man home run
he’s going to be running from a lot of his villains all over New York City in
spider-man 3 I really do like spider-man Home Run is the title of spider-man 3
you could do it run home but I think home run just plays a little bit better
when you think about the scope of a second post-credit scene with Nick Fury
on the sword Space Station and what that means for the future of Marvel movies it
also means that they’re pushing in a much more scientific space-based
direction and this just provides a lot more opportunities for Fantastic Four
characters to get involved they’re known as Marvel’s first family in the comics
but they’re also Marvel’s first science-based family because of mr.
fantastic they’re the original science bros of
Marvel Comics because they debuted before most of these other big
characters that we’ve seen in the MCU there been a couple scenes in recent
Marvel movies that have hinted at Fantastic Four in Norman Osborn Green
Goblin Oscorp things remember ant-man in the
wasp there’s a lot of stuff going on with a quantum realm just a whole lot of
territory for them to explore if they do more ant-man in the wasp films if they
don’t they can just use that in other people’s films a lot Fantastic Four
because what is one of the biggest concepts to come out of some of the more
recent Fantastic Four titles the idea of the multiverse the idea of the negative
zone so you just have a lot of Marvel characters traveling the multiverse if
anyone’s going to do that Fantastic Four characters would be great for that if
they don’t want to double down on ant-man in the wasp and stature now
because remember we’re in 2023 so Cassie Lange is
still a teenager old enough to take the mantle and become a hero in training
with her father it was a really cool deleted scene during that movie of the
actual quantum city within the quantum realm it’s implied that Janet Van Dyne
had been living there with those beings and she had sort of been altered a lot
of theory crafters are trying to use this as a potential path to x-men
because they talk about the way she was fundamentally evolved like she’s no
longer totally human then you have deleted scenes like this where she talks
about the life forms down there there’s so much we didn’t know about this place
Henry world of the world entire civilizations far more than we ever
theorized so when you think about Marvel phase four Fantastic Four multiverse
just start to think in that direction and I still get a ton of questions about
Mysterio’s story during the movie about the multiverse was he lying about the
multiverse the good thing is is they already established that in the Doctor
Strange movie so all the scientific stuff that he’s talking about is still
sound the only thing that he was lying about was his actual backstory being
from another earth in the nature of the elementals I could use someone like you
on my world I’m sorry new world from just not there
are multiple realities Peter this is earth dimension six one six I’m from
Earth 833 we share identical physical constants level four symmetry
I’m sorry you’re saying there’s a multiverse because I thought that was
just theoretical I mean that completely changes how we understand the initial
singularity deceasing sorry Paul Rudd has said that he’s not totally sure that
they’re going to make ant-man the wasp three so he’s like people please start a
petition so it just hasn’t been completely confirmed what they’re going
to be doing with quantum realm Fantastic Four next in the MCU
but the really good news is is that Marvel phase fours comic-con panel is
happening in one week as I’m posting this video some of you probably won’t
see this video till a little bit later of course I’ll do videos for whatever
they reveal but let me know in the comments what do you want them to do
with the Fantastic Four when they bring them officially into the MCU do you want
a solo movie first where they reboot the characters or do you want to see them
appear in somebody else’s movie first that venom Easter Egg video in the green
goblin Easter Egg you should post in the next couple of
days there was also a really funny Chris Hemsworth Thor parody that he just
posted so I might do a separate video about that too but congratulations to

Morbius Trailer – Marvel Spider-Man Scene and Sinister Six Theory Breakdown

how far are we allowed to go
to fix something that’s broken until the remedy is worse than the disease Michael Morbius got tired of doing the whole
good guy thing, huh? what’s up doc? Welcome back everyone it’s Charlie this is going
to be my new spider-man Morbius trailer video for all the sinister six stuff
that they’re setting up if you’re brand new to the channel be sure to subscribe
to get all the videos we’re doing a new movie ticket giveaway all you have to do
to enter is be a subscriber and leave all your sinister six theories on the
video so the Morbius trailer shows us a couple spider-man scenes between the
wall graffiti of the Tobey Maguire spider-man suit referencing the Spider
Man far from home post credit scene murderer like he killed Mysterio or at
least the world thinks he killed Mysterio then I would argue the even
bigger scene of Michael Keaton’s vulture after the events of the spider-man
homecoming post-credit scene in his same white prison jumpsuit in New York City
which itself might be from one of the Morbius post-credit scenes there’s also
a Kraven seemed that didn’t make it into the trailer remember we’re all thinking
the Kraven might be the villain to the next spider-man movies spider-man 3
which they’re shooting this summer there’s this truck that reads teasing
that the characters going to show up Earl soon but because it’s showing up in
Morbius a Sony movie not an MCU movie there’s a big question about where
Kraven is going to appear first because Sony is developing a Kraven solo film so
I’m not so sure that Kraven is going to be the villain of spider-man 3 but it’s
just all more evidence of them setting up sinister 6 off in the distance in
fact on the spider-man far from home bonus features there’s a clip of Amy
Pascal literally saying that they’re getting ready to do something with the
sinister six these villains that we now have in our universe happen to be
characters that are in the sinister six there may be something that happens to
that no matter where he goes the world is going to be different for him the
real blockbuster brace yourself you might want to sit out spider-man’s name is
Peter Parker what no more hiding yeah no more hiding
I feel like you watch that and it can’t be any more clear they’re definitely
headed for sinister six Sony has a history to of putting footage from the
end of their movies in their trailers if you didn’t notice they did it with venom
last year and all the venom trailers they kept having that clip of him
talking about turds in the wind eating that guy in the convenience store that
was right out of the end of the venom movie so it wasn’t really them giving
away the post-credits scene it’s just a lot of people feel like this vulture
Michael Keaton cameo is from the end of the movie like you go through the
process of him becoming the Morbius character then this would be some sort
of tag scene to let you know that it’s all connected blowing everyone’s minds
but they put it in the trailer because they really want you to go see the movie
to find out what’s going on on top of all this there’s also a lot of people
now after watching the trailer who are wondering if Jerrod Harris’s Morbius
character is in fact secretly a really big spider-man villain from the comics
he comes off like a caring father figure to Morbius in the trailer but Sony is
being very secretive about the official name of his character and the only
reason to do that would be if it’s a big spoiler and if he’s playing a huge
spider-man villain like a lot of people are now wondering if he might secretly
be their new version of dr. Otto Octavius because there are only a few
big spider-man villains who are doctors themselves and it does seem like his
character is a medical doctor and even though a lot of spider-man villains come
from the sciences like Norman Osborn is a scientist he’s not a real doctor in
the way Doctor Octopus is and you have to remember that Doctor Octopus is
actually the person who put together the first version of the sinister 6 Norman
Osborn’s Green Goblin didn’t really get tied up with sinister six stuff till way
way later in the comics but they just did the lizard a few years ago during
the Andrew Garfield amazing spider-man movies and the whole thing with the new
Tom Hollands spider-man era of movies is them doing new characters or people they
haven’t done in a long time in yes they did do Doctor Octopus doing the Tobey
Maguire films but if they’re using Toby’s suit for this big spider-man
spider-man far from home Easter egg then maybe it is a big clue that they’re
bringing back some more stuff from the Tobey Maguire era like the Doctor
Octopus character but now you probably realized why they wanted to put so much
of this spider-man crossover stuff in the Morbius movie it’s mostly to get you
to go see the movie to find out what’s happening
otherwise how many people do you think would completely ignore Morbius he’s not
that huge of a character and even though venom did really well last year venom by
himself is a really really popular character so
people were already going to go see that movie no matter what Sony is really
banking on this big spider verse that they’re spinning out to be successful so
they’re just throwing everything they have at these spin-off movies you never
heard of Morbius before you’re not sure about whether or not you’re going to go
well we’re going to put a whole bunch of spider-man crossover stuff in it now how
about you go but cute pizza time we also have to talk about this Tobey Maguire
spider-man costume why would they use this version of the costume if they’re
referencing the events of spider-man far from home in that post-credit scene
would happen with Mysterio I think one it’s to let you know that there will be
a spider-man crossover eventually like spider-man exists in this universe
because you didn’t see him anywhere during the first venom movie and I think
they’re going to use the venom two – soft reboot that with a bunch more spider-man
stuff but – I think it’s also meant to be a nod to the original Sony spider-man
movies with Tobey Maguire like those were hugely successful films however you
feel about them creatively spider-man 2 is still one of the best spider-man
movies of all time in three I think it’s also a way to remind you that there is a
spider verse in a multiverse in a way for the MCU movies in the Sony venom
virtue bees to coexist in how it can make sense for Tom Holland to show up in
both franchises without the MCU having to be super beholden to all the stuff
that they’re doing in the venom movies with top Haaland things don’t really get
that complicated til you start seeing Tom Holland jump back and forth between
the Sony movies whatever he’s crossing over with venom and he’s sinister sick
stuff and then the MCU movies there’s still a lot of questions about how their
sinister six project would go down will sinister six be the next big movie after
venom two or to Sony wait and do more solo villain movies like the Kraven
movie I said that they’re developing they’re clearly setting Kraven up during
the Morbius movies so that means that he’s going to appear somewhere but
here’s what Marvel and Sony both said about how they’re handling the
spider-man Tom Holland crossovers they announced a lot of these details when
they revealed the new sharing deal just a little while ago they refer to it as a
call and answer system Kevin Feige talked about spider-man jumping back and
forth between Earth’s in the multiverse but also between cinematic
versus Tom Holland was already confirmed to be appearing in the Sony venom movies
eventually and other potentially Sony driven spider-man projects like sinister
six when he does that Sony is allowed to reference his previous adventures in all
the Marvel movies that spider-man has been in like getting snapped in Avengers
infinity war and Avengers endgame his field trips with the Avengers during
Captain America Civil War in all the Mysterio stuff during spider-man far
from home then when he comes back for more Marvel movies like spider-man 3
Avengers 5 Young Avengers whatever the MCU movies are allowed to reference all
the stuff that happened to him while he was in the Sony venom movies so if he
gets the symbiote during one of the venom sequels are doing a big venom
crossover they can reference the symbiote in the MCU movies after that a
lot of you will remember way back to spider-man homecoming the MCU movies
already kind of seemed like they were slowly building their own roster of
sinister six characters starting in the post-credits scene it’s on our little
spider friend I’ve got some boys on the outside who would just love to meet him
you don’t take a picture slice his throat but his head in a dryer and I
heard a rumor you know here’s the thing about that
post credit scene is that after the events of spider-man far from home we
mostly assumed that we’d be seeing an MCU only version of sinister six
but with Michael Keaton showing up at the end of Morbius it seemingly confirms
that we’ll see at least some of the sinister six stuff come from the sony
venom verse movies so I don’t know if this is going to be a joint venture with
the MCU because sinister six is a big deal and Sony has been trying to make a
sinister six movie since way back in the Andrew Garfield era that was with a hole
amazing spider-man 2 post-credit scene was about oscorp’s sinister six
then Drew Goddard the person who started the daredevil Netflix TV show was
actually going to direct the sinister six movie but then they got rid of Andrew
Garfield and basically shelved their plans for sinister sakes
so I still think that they’re chomping at the bit to make a sinister six movie
but because of the vulture showing up in Morbius it seemingly confirms that venom
will also eventually have a presence in whatever sinister six movie that they
eventually do and I think a lot of what the new sinister six movie would wind up
looking like and how everything goes down just depends on whether or not
Marvel makes the sinister six movie or Sony makes it by themselves so let me
know in the comments do you think that sinister six is going to wind up being an
MCU movie or do you think it’s just going to wind up being a Sony movie by
itself there’s a bunch more Marvel videos I’ll be doing this weekend and
next week so leave all your requests in the comments below if you have any big
questions congratulations kyrie irving you’re the
giveaway winner from my last big Marvel video please email me on the about page

Turret Spiders Launch Sneak Attacks From Tiny Towers | Deep Look

The world is a very different place when darkness
falls. Most of us head for home … for cover. Because as the shadows creep in, they hide
things … Frightful things … What is that? That little tower? Look, there’s another one. They blend in so well. That was a California turret spider. Its lair is like the turret of a castle, rising
above the forest floor. It’s lined the inside with pearly white
silk. And coated the outside with mud, moss or leaves The turret leads down to the spider’s burrow,
that can descend six inches underground. The spider spends its days down there. As the last rays of sun die out, it rises
… to wait … motionless … Until some unsuspecting creature happens by,
like this pill bug. Every step it takes creates tiny tremors,
betraying its location. Whew! That was close. Turret spiders actually have pretty poor vision. Instead they rely on feel, bursting out in
whichever direction the vibrations seem to come from. So, sometimes they miss. They belong to group of spiders called mygalomorphs
— along with their more famous cousins: tarantulas and trap-door spiders. They pack oversized fangs that swing down
like a pair of pickaxes. They’ were hunting this way long before
spiders started building intricate aerial webs
like this orb-weaver spider. Instead, a female turret spider might live
for 16 years and never stray from her turret. She only ventures into the world for a split
second. Just long enough to drag her next victim down
to its demise. Check this out- a turret spiderling. Once it’s big enough, it’ll venture out
from their mom’s house and set out on its own. But usually not too far away. Deep Look knows what you like… more spiders! Do black widows really deserve their bad rap? And why is this spider … dancing? Leap out and hit that subscribe button and
that little notification bell – so you never miss an episode of Deep Look. See you next time.

That’s Probably Not a Spider Bite

[INTRO ♪] Let’s say you wake up one morning and you have a big, swollen, oozing thing on your arm or leg. Sounds horrible, I know, but bear with me. Your friend says it’s a spider bite. Dr. Google says a spider bite. And then your actual doctor also says it’s a spider bite. So cased closed, then—it’s a spider bite,
right? Well, maybe not. Dare I say probably not, because the truth is, spiders don’t go out of their way to bite people— and their venoms don’t usually cause large, open wounds. First off, if you were bitten, you’d probably
see the spider that bit you. Spiders might seem creepy, but they don’t
engage in stealth attacks against people. They really have no desire to bite a person that isn’t threatening them in some way. See, they spend a lot of energy producing their venom, which they need for hunting and to protect themselves. So they’re not going to waste it by attacking some gigantic creature they clearly cannot eat. On rare occasions, spiders will venture onto mattresses, so it’s possible to roll over one while sleeping— which is pretty much the only time you wouldn’t know that a spider was involved. But even if you did manage to scare a spider into biting you, most spider venoms are pretty harmless to humans. Some spider venoms can cause pain or itchy bumps, but only about 25 species are known to cause illness in humans. And the type of illness depends on the spider. Widow spiders, for example—a group which includes North America’s black widows and the Australian redback spider—have potent neurotoxins in their venoms. That’s why the bite of a widow spider can cause numbness, agitation, and painful muscle contractions. But it doesn’t cause necrosis, or the death
of living tissue—so no open wounds. And that’s an important distinction because
only certain spiders can cause that. Most well-known are the recluse spiders, which are common in the southern United States and South America but can be found in other parts of the world. The closely-related six-eyed spiders, which live in parts of Southern Africa, Central America, and South America, can also cause necrosis. What these spiders have in common is that their venom contains the toxin sphingomyelinase D which attacks cell membranes, killing cells. As cells die, a blackened lesion can form. But it’s important to note that this doesn’t
always happen. Serious tissue death is thought to occur in less than 10 percent of cases. Most of the time, people only experience minor symptoms like redness and swelling. And that’s likely because so little venom
is injected with each bite. Still, somehow, that small percentage of bad cases has lead to some serious paranoia about recluse spiders. Some people seem to think every spider they see is a brown recluse, the most notorious member of the group, even though that’s physically impossible. Brown recluse spiders are endemic to the southern United States—which means they’re naturally found nowhere else on Earth. So like for me here in Montana, or for anyone who’s not in the southern United States? We don’t have them. And even if you do live in a place that has brown recluses, it might comfort you to know that they’re called “recluses” for a reason. They’re less aggressive than other spiders, and pretty much only bite when they’re trapped. That doesn’t stop “brown recluse bite” from being a frequent diagnosis, even in places where they don’t live. And that’s probably because the death of skin tissue happens for all sorts of reasons, so it can be difficult to figure out exactly what caused it. If a doctor can’t find the cause of a wound, they might be tempted to call it a spider bite because patients like to have a diagnosis. And if their patient has already self-diagnosed something as a spider bite, they might see no reason to disagree. But that’s a potentially deadly mistake. In all, there are about 40 different medical
conditions that have been misdiagnosed as recluse bites, including herpes, Lyme disease, antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections, and even skin cancer. And if a person doesn’t get swift, appropriate treatment for some of those things, they can become life-threatening. Fortunately, there is a convenient mnemonic device that can tell you and your doctor whether your wound is likely a recluse bite: you just have to look for signs it’s NOT a RECLUSE. If there are Numerous lesions, if the Occurrence was in an area that doesn’t have recluse spiders, or if the Timing was between November and March, when the spiders aren’t active, it’s unlikely to be a recluse. Recluse bites also don’t have Red centers, they’re not Elevated, and they’re not Chronic— that is, they don’t persist for more than three months. They’re also not Large—typically, less
than 10 centimeters wide. And finally, recluse bites don’t Ulcerate early, meaning they don’t crust over within the first week; they don’t Swell; and they’re not Exudative—they don’t leak pus or other fluids. Though, as I noted earlier, a doctor probably can figure out if a bite was from a spider or not by simply asking if the person saw a spider bite them. So if you do have a suspicious skin lesion,
don’t automatically blame a spider for it. Most spiders can’t cause anything more than a small, annoying bump, and those that can aren’t found everywhere. So odds are you’re blaming an innocent arachnid. And speaking of innocent arachnids: we also make a podcast here at SciShow, and spiders love podcasts. It’s a scientific fact! Or is it? Every week on our lightly competitive podcast SciShow Tangents, we have a segment called Truth or Fail where one of presents three “science facts,” and only one of them is real and the rest of us on the podcast have to try to figure out which one it is. We also write and recite epic science poems and end every episode with a fact about butts. In other words, it’s quite a bit of fun,
and it’s quite a bit of science. So if you like those things, give it a listen! You can find it on the podcast platform of
your choice by searching for SciShow Tangents. And our most recent episode was all about spiders, which is why I’m talking about it right now. [OUTRO ♪]

costume that he ends in spider-man far from home it’s actually the Tobey
Maguire era spider-man costume in the picture itself is based on the
spider-man ps4 a game it’s literally like a screen cap that they took at a
spider-man ps4 so either someone is just messing with us a little bit or they’re
just mixing and matching a whole lot of elements from MCU Tom Hollands
spider-man stuff in the new Sony venom verse we knew they were going to cross Tom
Holland over into the venom movies eventually this just seems like it’s all
in service of that eventual crossover happening way sooner than we ever
expected I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually does show up in venom 2 at some
point but talking about the actual Morbius footage most of you are probably
stay little familiar with the Morbius character he was basically Marvel’s
attempt to do something based on the Dracula character the funny thing is is
that Dracula already is a Marvel comic book character but they wanted to create
a new character so way back in the 1970s when the Dracula craze around the world
got really really popular they created the Morbius character and
he’s not technically a vampire the way the
Dracula’s a vampire he doesn’t get his abilities through a vampire bite even
though there are a lot of vampire bats flying around in the trailer they kind
of do their version of the comic book origin story there’s a couple minor
changes but a lot of Easter eggs for the original version of his origin story the
person it seems like Jared Harris is playing is actually a version of his
original partner in the comics so in the comics Morbius is the biological
scientist he has a rare blood condition just like he talks about during the
trailer he’s slowly been dying for a long time his time is running out but
the testing that he needs to perform on himself isn’t totally legal so they go
out into international waters like where you see them go to this special cave
with the helicopter that’s their version of doing that in the comics it was a
boat that they went out to on international waters
Morbius performs a special treatment using electroshock therapy in the blood
of vampire bats mixed with his own blood that causes the accident that gives him
his powers cuz basically was playing out during the trailer here and then because
Jared Harris is sort of this father figure to him as he says I’ve known you
since you were a boy and he also seems like he was a doctor and inspired
Morbius to eventually become a doctor himself when he grew up in the comics
when he’s on that boat with his research partner and his girlfriend martine
Bancroft who’s played by this woman in the trailer he’s immediately driven to
feed through his vampire urges and he accidentally attacks his research
partner so it seems like this footage in the trailer is him actually attacking
Jared Harris and accidentally destroying him without realizing what’s going on
like he’s using these abilities to jump around this New York City apartment and
then it jumps on this person you can’t quite see what’s going on but then he
screams out in pain so this might be him accidentally killing Jared Harris right
after he gets his abilities because you see the montage of the trailer where he
slowly starts to get better but then they find out that he’s starting to turn
into something of a vampire himself like they put him behind the glass and he
starts punching it so he probably tries to isolate himself early in the process
while they’re figuring out what it is that’s happening to him if you’re a big
comic book reader you also probably notice the other part of his origin
story too with this oil tanker in the comics after he accidentally kills his
research partner he throws himself overboard so that he won’t be consumed
to feed on his girlfriend Martine Bancroft
but his survival instincts as a vampire kick in save him and then he gets
rescued out of the water by this boat of fishermen he winds up feeding on all
so you see him flying around this oil tanker boat getting all these people
that’s probably their version of that from the comics Matt Smith is playing
the Loxias crown character so he might wind up becoming the villain sometime
later in the trailer – it’s not really clear what he’s doing in the course of
this trailer footage though because you just see him on what seems like the
subway platform walking around going somewhere else in the comics he had the
same rare type of condition that Morbius had that was destroying him he went through
a similar type of treatment it also got a bunch of powers but wound up being
super super evil Morbius as you can see from the trailer is actually getting the
venom treatment as an anti hero inside this Sony venom verse and now it looks
like connected to the spider-man MCU universe as well the smokey looking
special effects behind him when he’s flying around using his vampire
abilities remind me a little bit of the special effects they use for the
Nightcrawler character during x-2 in the original x-men films the rest of the
trailer is mostly a montage of action scenes just letting you know what his
abilities look like it’s really just meant to be the teaser trailer and
obviously just give you the big bomb oh my god this is happening inside the
spider-man universe and we have Michael Keaton as the vulture coming back from
spider-man homecoming my guess is when we get to the next trailer there’ll be a
little bit more of the story and they’ll reveal a little bit more about what’s
going on with the villain because Loxias crown is meant to be sort of the carnage
for the Morbius character like venom is meant to be the anti-hero the venom
movies even though technically he’s a spider-man Tolin but then along comes
someone who’s even worse that he has to take down solo cos crown is that for the
Morbius character like I said I’m not sure why they’re using the Sam Raimi
spider-man costume but this is meant to be taking place after the spider-man far
from home post-credits scene so the world thinks that he got Mysterio
thanks to J jonah Jameson in that footage that Mysterio concocted also I
kind of think that there’s going to be a J Jonah Jameson cameo during this there
was a rumor that I talked about in my last Morbius teaser video now I’m
actually starting to believe it because Michael Keaton just showed up and we got
confirmation on this spider-man Easter Egg the other really big actor that’s in
this is Tyrese it just seems like he’s one of the feds who’s coming for Morbius
and then finds out that eventually during the course of the movie that he’s
not evil there’s someone that’s even worse the Loxias crown character and
maybe they wind up teaming up to take them down Tyrese also signed a multi
picture deal so whatever big team up that Morbius
with venom whatever maximum carnage storyline that they have with spider-man
Tyrese will also be part of that too then at the end of the trailer they gave
you the full-on Morbius treatment this is what he’ll look like when he is in
full vampire form so maybe for this version of the movie they’re going to allow
him to transform back and forth between his more human looking form and the
vampire form in the comics for the most part he’s locked into this one form
until he finds a treatment that eventually cures him and then he
eventually gets his powers back I know a lot of you were wondering if they’re
going to do this special spider-man storyline where he gets the multiple
arms because that’s the story line that Morbius debuted during in the spider-man
comics amazing spider-man back to her in the early 1970s I don’t think that Tom
Holland is going to show up in this movie with six arms that would just be
completely weird but it would be funny if there was an Easter Egg for that
somewhere during the movie the whole thing about his introduction in the
comics is that it’s actually part of a Spider Man lizard story with Curt
Connors they’re both looking for something to cure their condition and
they find that Morbius his blood will do that so Morbius is more of a villain
when he shows up in the spider-man comics for the first time but eventually
it’s a very venom movie type of twist where he’s like I’m only going to feed
on people that are bad I’m only going to hurt people that are evil as far as the
Michael Keaton vulture cameo it does look like he just broke out of prison
because he’s wearing the exact same outfit so I don’t know what Morbius is
doing in this prison outfit either because he’s wearing a completely
different prison uniform but the line of dialogue so you got tired of doing the
whole good guy thing makes it sound like maybe he breaks a bunch of people out of
prison himself I was a little upset that we didn’t get a follow up to the
spider-man homecoming post-credits scene during spider-man far from home but it
seems like they were saving that for the Morbius movie in this venom first tying
it all together it does seem like it’s all in service of a sinister six team up
movie however they’re going to accomplish that
remember the sony is also developing a craven movie for the craven character
and there is a craven truck that shows up somewhere during the Morbius movie
this is actually screen grabbed from behind the scenes while they were
shooting so regardless of when that sinister six movie is going to happen
they are definitely setting that up in this movie let me know in the comments
though we all kind of figured that they would head for a maximum carnage team-up
because of the venom movies but do you actually think that they’re going to get
two sinister sticks faster than they get to maximum carnage or do you think there
can I do maximum carnage at all and they’ll just go straight to sinister six
I think when they announced the Morbius movie most people were like why are they
doing Morbius I don’t understand he’s not that big of a character
now everyone’s heads have turned around and they’re like you had my curiosity
but now you have my attention so I think like a bunch of people are just going to
show up just to see how this is connected to the MCU version of
spider-man and Tom Holland for now my expectations are the Tom Holland does
not appear himself in this movie maybe they use some stock footage from the end
of spider-man far from home but for the most part I think that they’re very
light touches when it comes to physical actual spider-man appearing and some of
this stuff I would be a little bummed out if Tom Holland appeared physically
in the Morbius movie before he appeared in a venom crossover so I think that
they’re still negotiating to get him into venom to in some sort of post
credits scene or something like that but the cool thing is is that venom 2 is
coming out in October so we’ll probably get the first trailer for that when the
Morbius movie comes out this summer the Morbius movie is being released right
after Comic Con so we’re not going to have to wait that long to find out what’s
going on with venom and carnage they’ll probably drop some early teasers before
that – so everyone post your theories in the comments below I’ll name a giveaway
winner the next time I post a Marvel video let me know in the comments is
