Kylie Minogue – Dancing [Subtitulado] (Live Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway)

No one wants to stay at home,
nobody wants to be alone. When you come knocking,
I’ll be at your door. I don’t ever wanna stop.
I’m gonna give it all I’ve got. And when they ask me,
“who could ask for more?” Can’t stand still. I won’t slow down. When I go out,
I wanna go out dancing. When I go out,
I wanna go out dancing. I wanna go out dancing. I wanna go out, I wanna go out dancing. This is where I wanna be, with you
your arms wrapped around me And fireworks reflecting in your eyes. This is how I wanna feel,
the wine, the kiss, the music real And getting down,
riding all the highs. Can’t stand still. I won’t slow down. When I go out,
I wanna go out dancing. When I go out,
I wanna go out dancing. I wanna go out dancing. I wanna go out, I wanna go out dancing. Everybody’s got a story,
let it be your blaze of glory burning bright, never fade away. And when the final curtain falls,
we could say we did it all. The never ending of a perfect day. Can’t stand still.
(Can’t stand still) I won’t slow down.
(Won’t slow down) When I go out,
I wanna go out dancing. When I go out,
I wanna go out dancing. I wanna go out dancing. I wanna go out.
I wanna go out. (I wanna go out dancing) I wanna go out.
I wanna go out. I wanna go out dancing.

Elképesztő hangyaváros szövőhangyákkal! (Polyrhachis dives)

Hello everyone, this is a new antsite video In this episode we are going to rebuild an ant city. Keep watching until the end – i promise it will be super exciting… This is an old formicarium A thriving weaver ant colony lived in it before. You can saw this colony in some previous videos, or even personally on terraristic exhibitions. This colony lived 2, 2 and half year long in this formicarium. So the goal is to populate again this formicarium with a thriving ant colony. We have chance now to rebuild this system, so why don’t we upgrade a bit this whole formicarium to be more spectacular? You know i have plenty of creativity, so i find out a cylinder shape instead of the previous brick. This is more elegant and even more spectacular. Then I want something more in my mind.. If the weaver ants can get an own tower, why don’t they get an own city instead? This is the story how comes the idea to build an ant city. The structure build up from three different towers, with three outside gallery between them. There are three escape-prevent edge, and three openable ventilation grid on the top of the towers. There are more ventilation grids on two place at the sides, for the better breezing. There are many carcase laying on the floor of the old formicarium. Also can find tainted, unhatched larvae somewhere. The diameter of the biggest cylinder was planned for the size of the old bonsai tree. Meanwhile we get a big family of weaver ants so they will move into the new place. You can see what a massive nest they built in their previous home. They weaved almost everything for nest in the left formicarium, and there are many of workers in the left formicarium also. The ant city looks much amazing after the furnish. The old bonsai tree also looks epic in it, and i put another, smaller bonsai tree inside. Ants can hide between it’s roots. The ant city looks like a real metropolis after the ants have moved in. Every ants working on it’s own task busily. Some of them are building new home and others throwing out the garbage from the old nest. Every ants run fast to their work on the busy trails. After the settlement the ants moved in the old nest at the top of the tree immediately, and they start to throwing out the old larvaes and garbage from it. I didn’t record video from the settlement, because I have put them through almost one by one during an afternoon. It wasn’t too interesting for a video you can believe. An now let’s see the freshly building new nest. One day after the settlement some ants gathered spectacularly between the roots. At that time we could guess what they planning, and a few times later the first strings just appear. The ants just start to weaving their new nest. Catch their larvae in their mouth and working busy on the building operations, so they pass so much with the building on the first day! A few days later the new nest starts to equal to it’s final form. The walls became more stronger as the ants wave more and more layers on it. They use every kind of building material, this reason there are black and green threads in the walls which comes from the fake grass which covers the floor. Meanwhile they start to renew the old nest at the top of the tree. They have repaired the entrances, and they start to build together the nest with the wall of the cylinder. Can see well the fresh silks with brighter color than the old weaves. We can see inside the nest through the formicarium wall. There are many of workers and larvae working hard inside. That workers who don’t work, they guarding in a typical position on the most important strategy places. Sometimes we can notice winged males (drones) in the colony. The smallest, sloping tower still empty, because I give them food and water here. I put a test tube with full of water here, and they start to use it ardently. Hopefully they won’t drown in the open water, if this happens i have to find out another method for watering. There is a build in thermometer at the side of the formicarium. The back of the thermometer have to cover with grid, to avoid them to move inside it. Those areas where the ants feel the ventilation of the air, they try to discover new places. They stick out their antennae often through the dish to find out what is at the other side. A few workers waiting standby on the only door where no any escape-prevent oil around. But don’t worry, i never open this door. If they thirsty or hungry many workers start to raiding in their territory to find food or water. But of course their activity depends from the temperature and light also, in cooler temperature they goes inside the nest instead. And it seems they try to reach the lighter places – i think this could be some escaping instinct. It is such a catching sight, as these tiny insects organizing their society and living their everyday. We can admire them for hours, and can observe more and more interesting ant-things, but unfortunately our video is ending now, hope see you again next time! Yellow Crazy Ants and Their Pet Water Beast

Yellow Crazy Ants and Their Pet Water Beast

Last week, we welcomed a new ant colony to
the channel, some golden-gastered Polyrhachis ants who moved in to El Dragon Island, but
we were shocked to discover the ants were gravely infected by a plague of mites. Together we, the AC family, decided to keep
the ants and go ahead with treating them with lemon therapy. A bold move for us, but a choice I think we
were confident to make because just beside this infected colony quarantined on El Dragon
Island, stands a kingdom of ants who actually managed to overcome and survive a mite plague
in their past, reminding us every day of the power of perseverance and never giving up. Today, we visit the majestic Hacienda Del
Dorado, and check up on how the Golden Empire, our yellow crazy ant supercolony has been
doing, along with their pet water beast/undertaker living in their communal pool, and AC Family,
you will be shocked to see what our water beast looks like today! Please SUBSCRIBE to my channel and hit the
bell icon. Welcome to the AC Family. Enjoy! The Hacienda Del Dorado stands tall and mighty
at the heart of the Antiverse, towering high above all other ant kingdoms in the ant room. Admittedly, it is one of my top favourite
ant farms ever created on my ant keeping journey. The Hacienda Del Dorado is a paludarium, which
means it is part terrarium and part aquarium. Peeking into the terrarium portion, the ants
of the Golden Empire are busy going about their various usual tasks peacefully, constructing
nest tunnels, cleaning and upkeeping the territories, and hunting for food. I could watch these ants all day, as they
construct some of the most impressive ant hills in the entire Antiverse. One of the things I love about the Golden
Empire is that they’re stingless. They don’t have stingers and their formic
acid sprays are too weak for me to feel, so I can work around them without having to worry
about pain. Aside from that, I also love their gorgeous
translucent golden colour which sparkles like droplets of honey in the light. It makes for a beautiful sight to behold as
they move about in orchestra. Here is their feeding pit, the location I
place most of their food. And speaking of which, AC Family, it’s feeding
time. Placing in a roach, and the Golden Empire
is happy to accept the day’s feast offering. Take a look at them swarming that roach. That’s some great protein, that will eventually
make its way mouth to mouth to all members of the colony through a process called trophallaxis,
and end up nourishing the eight queens, as well as the colony’s larvae who need the valuable
protein the most. If you look carefully, you’ll see the Golden
Empire’s symbiotic co-inhabitants, a colony of springtails we call the Spring Cleaners,
who live mutualistically with the ants. They feed from the Golden Empire’s leftovers
and molds that grow from their bathroom areas and food scraps. Essentially, they need each other, a perfect
example of symbiotic mutualism, a biological pact of interdependence between members of
the Hacienda Del Dorado. Don’t you just love when two organisms become
allies? It’s also great the Spring Cleaners are around
because I don’t need to worry about spot cleaning so much, except maybe for things like this
huge mango pit. Sorry, ladies. Just cleaning up! But perhaps one of my favourite things about
the Hacienda Del Dorado is the communal pool, you guys called the Golden Springs, a planted
rock face from which a spring feeds a pool of water, within which lives the great water
beast of the Hacienda Del Dorado. If you’re new to the channel, we moved a crayfish
into the Golden Springs to feed on dead ants drowning in this pool. This pool in fact was set in place as a form
of population control for the Golden Empire, because imagine having eight egg-laying queens
and no predators. The Golden Empire’s population needed some
curbing, so this spring pool was perfect as some ants would fall in and drown, so we released
a crayfish into the pool to eat these decaying ant bodies. And AC Family, it turns out this crayfish
recently shed its skin, which means it had grown in size, but when you see just how big
the crayfish is now, you guys will completely trip out! But hmmmm it seems to be rather shy at the
moment, hiding somewhere there in the shadows of its back cave. Let’s add some fish pellets and try to coax
the beast from its darkened aquatic den. Alright, any moment now… Or not… Hmmm… Still shy. Alright maybe if I turn off the spot lights,
it’ll be much more at ease to emerge. Let’s try. OK this water beast is still reluctant to
come out. I know it’s in there staring at us from within
the shadows. Alright, while waiting, AC Family, the time
has come to finally announce this crayfish’s official name! In our last video featuring this water beast,
we ran a poll on the top name suggestions by you the AC Family, and the winning name
was “Empress Sapphire”. Quite a beautiful name, actually, but it turns
out some of you crayfish experts were able to analyze the footage, and determine that
this Empress was actually an Emperor! It was male! What a surprise that was! I had purchased the crayfish as a youngster
and the man who sold it to me had told me that it was a female and that I could mate
it with the white male crayfish you saw it dueling with in that last video. Well, that was my fault for trusting him,
because the two crayfish were both male and two different species! I truly apologize for that video, by the way. Thankfully both crayfish were unharmed in
the end, but from now on, this water beast living in the Golden Springs of the Hacienda
Del Dorado shall be called “Emperor Sapphire”. Alright Emperor Sapphire, please come out
so the AC Family can marvel at how beautiful, I mean handsome and dashing you are. No response. It was then that I noticed there seemed to
be something odd about the rocky spring climb. It looked a bit stagnant. I moved aside the vegetation and roots growing
around the spring, and yup, just as I suspected. Water wasn’t flowing from it. There was a bit of water movement so I knew
there was still a connection to the filter below but the tube from it was definitely
clogged. Moving down to inspect the filter, it looked
like water was reversing out through some holes which were supposed to suck in water. Not good! I needed to locate the clog and remove it,
because currently, without this spring functioning properly, this water was not being filtered. Water entering and leaving the filter, failing
to cascade down past the plants, moss, and algae was not being purified, and dirty, poisonous
waters are bad news for the Golden Empire who drink from the Golden Springs and Emperor
Sapphire who lives in it. So, it was time to put on my gloves and assume
the role of royal plumber! I went in to inspect the filter, and unplugging
it from the Spring tube, I saw that the water was still flowing properly from it, which
only meant the spring tube was clogged up. So, I gathered my highly sophisticated tool,
a piece of wire… and I tried my best to stick it into the hole
from the top of the spring, but no matter how much I tried, I couldn’t
seem to get in through the top. Golden Empire ants were crawling all over
my arms at this point, tickling me, but still quite the disruption. My next attempt was to try to stick the wire
in through the bottom! I pushed the wire as far into the tube as
I could, and surprisingly it went in pretty far, and when I felt I had gone far enough,
I pulled the wire out and with it came all the gunk that had clogged the Golden Springs. Take a look at how much gunk I managed to
pull out. Pretty gross. And after reconnecting the tube to the filter,
voila, the spring was restored. This was awesome! Water once again cascaded down and around
the rocks and moss, and past the roots of the plants, biologically purifying in the
process. The waters could once again be clean enough
for the Golden Empire to drink, and Emperor Sapphire to live comfortably in. And since I was successful as a plumber just
now, I might as well take on the title as Royal Gardener, too. I rearranged some of the vegetation back into
place, and cut back some of the leaves of the philodendron and bird’s nest fern. Now I bet all this work around the Golden
Springs really spooked out Emperor Sapphire. Let’s leave the Hacienda Del Dorado alone
for the night, and revisit in the morning. Man, I just love this kingdom so much. Lights off… By morning, the Hacienda Del Dorado is alive
with the onset of morning sun. The Golden Empire relishes their day’s cockroach
meal in the feeding pit. Still no sign of Emperor Sapphire emerging
for us. He’s quite the recluse isn’t he? We’ll see him eventually! I love how alive the Hacienda Del Dorado is
all the time, workers of the Golden Empire always on the move, constantly changing the
shape and look of the Hacienda Del Dorado. Can you believe these lands once looked like
this? These territories have evolved massively to
become the paludarium extravaganza it is today. If you haven’t followed the Hacienda Del Dorado
story and the epic history of the Golden Empire, it’s truly one of my favourite story lines
on this channel. Feel free to watch the Golden Empire’s entire
journey here after watching this video. It’s full of ant wars, creatures coming and
going, carnivorous plants, mites, and of course, ant pets like Emperor Sapphire. I say Emperor Sapphire is the Golden Empire’s
pet because I do feel the ants keep their crustacean co-Del Doradan somewhat contained
in the Spring Pool. Surprisingly, Emperor Sapphire has made no
attempts to escape or crawl out of the Golden Springs ever, although he techincally could
at any time. I do believe Emperor Sapphire genuinely loves
the Golden Springs, but I am also confident, the Golden Empire has made sure to let their
Emperor Sapphire pet know that he is not to leave his aquatic palace. It looks like over night the waters have improved
due to the plumbing fix, and have trickled down a neat new path along the leaves, creating
surface water disturbance, which was excellent because it increased oxygen in the waters,
a great thing for Emperor Sapphire. Speaking of which, AC Family, no sudden movements. Emperor Sapphire is in our presence. Do you see his antennae? Look at how wide they stretch, from one end
all the way to the other! Isn’t that amazing? Alright, let’s try again to coax him out of
hiding. Adding some fish pellets, and oh, here he
comes! AC Family, look at him. Oh, he didn’t come all the way out, and I
don’t think we could appreciate his size from what we just saw, but let’s hope comes out
a bit more later. It really amazes me observing Emperor Sapphire
living within the Golden Springs, as he will randomly decide to show himself, or body parts. I know he has great vision and waits for me
to leave the Ant Room before emerging to do his thing, and the few times he did emerge
in my presence, my camera was not on or nearby, or I was too slow to capture his brief appearances. I even tried different tactics to get him
to come out entirely for the camera, like bribing with lettuce. It worked, sorta. Emperor Sapphire is no dummy. He grabbed the goods and retreated into the
darkness of his cave. I even tried placing in a superworm treat,
but that seemingly disappeared when I blinked. Emperor Sapphire is smart, fast, and elusive. I actually don’t mind this and I want him
to know that I respect his need for space and privacy at all times. I do feel he trusts me, and so I would never
go in and force him out of hiding. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about all
this nature videography, it just takes a little patience. While waiting, I was often distracted by the
Golden Empire traveling through their various established trails and pathways around the
Golden Springs. AC Family, have a look. I loved how proficient these ants were around
water. They had regularly traveled wooden bridges,
plant roads, and Great Wall Highways all around and through the Golden Springs, and despite
all this slippery terrain and fast-flowing water all around, most ants generally did
not slip in. And AC Family, take a look at this! I also loved watching the ants drink from
the Golden Springs. Because of the Golden Empire’s semi-translucency,
you could see which ants were carrying water in their social stomachs to deliver to the
rest of the colony underground. These workers were like living water servants,
collecting water from their communal pool and distributing it throughout the kingdom. Isn’t it amazing how ants are essentially
like a real human kingdom? And AC Family, here we go finally! Have a look at the face of the kingdom’s giant
pet water beast. Emperor Sapphire has finally agreed to come
out and say hello! Look how big he is! And look at that gorgeous blue colour! His claws were adorned with ruby-coloured
hair and he was emerging to pick at stuff from the filter. Isn’t he just so adorable?… I mean, ok manly, and emperor-ish! Awww… I think I offended him. Having the Hacienda Del Dorado and all its
inhabitants has truly been an incredible journey. The Golden Empire, though perhaps not the
most popular colony on this channel, perhaps because they get overshadowed by some of their
more aggressive counterparts, has still stood the test of time. They’ve persevered and problem-solved and
have learned to establish a great balance with the inhabitants sharing their territories. It’s a feeling that most ant keepers who’ve
had ant colonies that have survived with them for many years can attest to, but perhaps
can’t quite explain. In ant keeping, I do feel like I grow with
my ant colonies that have been with me the longest. I wonder if you guys who have been following
this channel for awhile feel it, too? Don’t you guys feel the Golden Empire has
become family, much like we were accepted by them into their fold, to walk among them
in their territories, to watch and be part of their every day lives and challenges, and
even care for their village pet. Well, that’s how I feel, and don’t at all
feel like I am their master. I feel more like they let us in, and I am
grateful to have been able to experience the Hacienda Del Dorado with you guys again today,
and hopefully for more Golden days to come. Long live the Golden Empire and the Hacienda
Del Dorado. It’s ant love forever. Shhh… here he comes… Oh, Emperor Sapphire… I am not worthy of your might and strength! I cowar before your powerful crayfishlyness! I think I offended him. Alright, AC Family, did you enjoy today’s
walk through the Hacienda Del Dorado? The Golden Empire is truly one of my favourite

Ants vs. Axolotl

Ants vs. Axolotl

Last week, we built the Blood Towers, the
beastly ant territories of the Dracula Ants. Check out those fruit flies, circling like
crows outside the towers, but next door to these ant newcomers, lays another kingdom
of old, of the O.G. Ant Trinity, that has long been established
in the Antiverse. It’s an ant kingdom we, the AC Family, call
the Hacienda Del Dorado, home to the Golden Empire, a mighty supercolony of yellow crazy
ants. But there has been a great change in the Hacienda
Del Dorado since we last visited these territories, that has tipped the balance within the kingdom. Have a look at this. If you’re new here, this is what the feeding
grounds used to look like! Today the crowds of Golden Empire ants have
been reduced to only a few seen rummaging through the debris. But what had happened to the once glorious
Golden Empire? Well, AC Family, what you’re seeing here,
is a great transition that all the inhabitants of the Hacienda Del Dorado are undergoing,
as a result of a single kingdom-shaking event. The disappearance of an emperor, and the entrance
of a dragon. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the AntsCanada
Ant Channel! Please SUBSCRIBE to my channel and hit the
bell icon. Welcome to the AC Family! Enjoy! Alright, AC Family, I know some of you who
have been following the channel for awhile, may be die-hard Golden Empire loyalists or
fans of Emperor Sapphire, but if you are, don’t panic. I’ll explain everything that has happened
in detail, so keep on watching until the end. But for you newcomers, who may be wondering
what is going on, let me catch you up to speed! This waterfall and pool called the Golden
Springs were installed for population control, as the less nimble ants would be swept and
swallowed up by its falls, and living within its waters, was the Golden Empire’s resident
Kraken, a blue crayfish that we all watched grow up here. We had named it Emperor Sapphire, an awesome
and sensitive beast, whose main purpose was to feed on decaying ant bodies which fell
into the Golden Springs, thereby keeping these waters consistently crystal clear. But now he’s gone. Here’s what happened. Months passed and Emperor Sapphire began to
grow bigger and bigger slowly outgrowing the Golden Springs. So, I’m sad to announce, that it was no longer
fair nor healthy to restrict our blue crayfish to the limiting waters of the Golden Springs,
and after his latest shed, I had to rehome him, leaving the Golden Springs completely
evacuated. His royal absence, however eventually lead
to a build up of algae within the Golden Springs, since there was now noone to take care of
cleaning duties, and the water grew foul as more and more dead ant bodies collected untouched. But now you may be wondering how this lead
to the staggering population decline in the Golden Empire. Now you may be thinking the ants drank this
foul water and died off in masses, but actually, although the absence of the Sapphire Emperor
was indeed the cause of the disappearance in ants, it’s not what you’re thinking. In fact, the Golden Empire has not been dying
out. They’re still here in the Hacienda Del Dorado,
and I’m about to show you where they’ve all been hiding. It’s night, and a gift is about to fall from
the skies. It’s the Golden Empire’s feeding time! At the arrival of the chopped up roaches,
a group of ants come boiling out from within their deepest of catacombs, to feast on the
food offerings that fall from the skies every night. Have a look! Message spreads fast by way of pheromones
that food has arrived at the surface, springing more and more ants into action to help with
processing the food. More squadrons of ants appear on the scene
to carry these massive pieces of fresh roach meat. Look at them cooperating and carrying the
roach pieces from all sides, as they pull and plan their operations of food transport. And now suddenly the feeding grounds are as
populated as we’re used to seeing them. But AC Family, here’s where they’ve been hiding
all this time. Within the soils of the terrarium there is
a damp layer. I’ve been purposely drying out the lands for
a reason I’ll get into in a bit, but it has caused the ants of the Golden Empire to retreat
deep into this layer of moist soil. AC Family, check out all those amazing chambers
and tunnelwork, and all the ants pouring out from their openings! We’ll be seeing some special guest appearances
later on in the video at this particular cross section of the nest, so hang tight for that
in a little bit. Meanwhile, as for this roach, they’ll be working
on fitting it into the nest, then disappear again deeper into the moist soil layer. So let’s shut the lights and allow these ants
to deal with their food in peace. Now I’m sure many of you may be glad to know
the Golden Empire is OK and healthy as usual. But why then have I attempted to dry out the
lands to keep the ants deeper underground, and what is the connection to the absence
of our Sapphire Emperor? Well, now that the Golden Springs were empty,
and kind of festering, I had some major renovation plans in mind, in order to make these waters
great again, and set the stage for the reception of our Sapphire Emperor’s replacement. That’s right. We needed a new cleaner beast for the Golden
Springs. So, I needed the ants to stay out of my way
as much as possible while this project was in operation, but boy AC Family, did I have
some epic plans for these Golden Springs! A new beast was coming to the Antiverse, AC
Family, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever kept before. The next evening, when the ants were sparse
and retreated out of the way, I went straight to work as quickly as possible, so to not
alarm the ants before they came boiling out to defend their kingdom from the giant divine
hands descending from the skies. Though these ants don’t sting, they are quick
to swarm and can spray formic acid into bites they inflict which cause irritation and lots
of escaped ants using my body as a bridge! I disconnected the filter, and began to scoop
away at the soil. All this substrate needed to go. The beast that would be moving in here would
need more room than the Golden Springs was currently offering! Next, I needed to replace the substrate with
a layer of black sand. I chose the sand so that our new beast would
show up nicely against it! And AC Family, after several hours of work
and renovations… Behold! I’m pleased to present to you the new Hacienda
Del Dorado. Now before I get to the newly restored and
improved Golden Springs, let me show you the awesome changes I made to the lands. The new territories look absolutely gorgeous! I couldn’t look away! It was calming to the eyes. Don’t you guys think? I’ve planted groupings of arrowhead plants,
Syngonium podophyllum, and a cute smaller species which may or may not be creeping wire
vine, Muehlenbeckia axillaris. I find these plants accent our creeping fig
ficus at the back there quite nicely. Another quick thing I wanted to show you guys
were these newcomers! These ferns, which I actually didn’t plant,
sprouted out of nowhere growing epiphytically without soil with our bromeliads. Pretty neat that they sort of planted themselves
and it’s beyond me how they got there! And speaking of making grand appearances on
the scene, guess who else has made a grand comeback to once again frequent the feeding
grounds! They’re back! So check this out, AC Family, now that the
new plants have been installed, and with it new moist soils added, as well as more water
to help the new plants root properly, the lands were no longer dried out as before,
and so the Golden Empire has returned in their great numbers above ground. And let me tell you, working around their
feeding grounds planting the plants was no easy venture! The Golden Empire came pouring out of their
nest, covering my arms, biting and spraying me with formic acid. I’ve never had to work around them like this
for such a long time and for the first time felt and experienced their wrath. Impressive defense line, I must say! But the thing that impressed me the most during
this whole relandscaping operation was just how many ants emerged on the scene! Have a look at this! Masses of ants scrambling about in hi-jinx,
as the colony was made aware of my giant hands ripping and planting around their home. Ants were relocating brood in a panic, I mean,
wouldn’t you? But look who else I caught making moves. A queen! This was one of the 8 royal queens to the
Golden Empire’s supercolony! It was awesome to see her again, and then
out of nowhere a second queen! Totally amazing! It was great seeing our monarchs, even if
it was in this current state of emergency. And so the Golden Empire was now back to normal,
and no longer in estivation brought about by the great drought I had caused, but now
that the colony was back to frequenting all areas of the Hacienda Del Dorado, it was time
to add the finishing touch to the Golden Springs, or should I say, it was time to add the finishing
beast to the Golden Springs. The waterfalls were ready and working, with
waters cascading down its purifying planted surface. Though I had done an 80% water change, some
of the biofilm and sediment from the old substrate had settled on top of our new sand substrate,
which was okay because this valuable gunk contained the necessary bacteria needed to
neutralize the poisonous waste which would be generated by the beast that would be moving
into these waters. I could also see pieces of dead ant remains
in the mix. It was definitely important that these waters
stay as clean as possible, because the Golden Springs happen to be the Golden Empire’s primary
water source. It’s pretty ironic to think that the Golden
Springs happens to give these ants life, bring some of them death, and now, brings them a
new pet dragon, that they have no idea is about to enter these waters. And so AC Family, it is with joy and excitement
that I am pleased to present to you, the Hacienda Del Dorado’s new resident water beast! Behold! Our brand new White Aquadragon, a.k.a. an
axolotl, scientifically known as Ambystoma mexicanum. Now if this is your first time seeing an axolotl,
I’m sure you may think its appearance is as strange as its name, but let me assure you
these creatures are incredible! Although they are commonly known as Mexican
walking fish, these creatures are not actually fish at all. They’re amphibians, closely related to tiger
salamanders. They were originally found living in lakes
in Mexico but sadly are now listed as endangered in the wild due to urbanization, water pollution,
and introduction of invasive predators in their natural habitats in Mexico. Luckily, today they are widely bred within
the captive pet trade, and this makes our aquadragon extra special. Check out those external gills though, and
all the blood vessels extending to the surface to absorb oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. They are basically the inverted version of
our lungs! Super neat, right? This poor axolotl seems to be sustaining an
injury on its tail which it must have gotten from a tank mate biting it. Now these animals are carnivorous, consuming
small prey such as worms, insects, and small fish in the wild, so I had to test and see
if it had a taste for yellow crazy ants, so I placed in a dead ant and it took a quick
swipe but hilariously missed. Oh well, let’s hope it gets better at aiming. As you can see these guys are amazing swimmers
and are 100% aquatic animals, and this white aquadragon of ours appeared eager to move
into his bigger home. I also couldn’t wait to add our white aquadragon
to the Golden Springs, but before that, I first needed to drip acclimate the beast so
that it would gradually adjust to its new future waters. And soon, the beast was ready for its official
release. Here we go AC Family, are you ready? It is time to release our new white aquadragon
into the Golden Springs for the purpose of feeding on drowned members of the Golden Empire. Here we go! 1 – 2 – 3. I placed the axolotl in, and it instantly
hid sitting frozen behind some driftwood. It began to regain its bearings for a bit. I watched wide-eyed as it sat there truly
like a dragon waiting beneath the waters. I truly hoped it would do a good job at consuming
the dead drowned ants. It was so weird to see it living here, because
prior to this, I have always been used to looking in and seeing our Sapphire Emperor. It sat silently for a long while staring at
the new strange world above the water. And then it decided to move, an ant came to
check out the huge white shape it could see below the waters, but the beast was ready
to check out its new home. It swam around the corner and cautiously began
to explore the Golden Springs floor. I am sure it could smell all the dead ants
at its feet but it seemed to not care much for them at the moment. I am sure it could also see all the ants crawling
around the other side of the glass, but again not too interested in them either. It moved to check out the filter, which it
could probably feel was making strange mechanical vibrations. And then what it did next kind of touched
my heart. It was staring out at the vast world of the
Hacienda Del Dorado outside the waters. It suddenly occurred to me that this was probably
the very first time, our axolotl had ever seen plants, soil, wood, and even ants. It stood still staring for a long time at
the beauty beyond. OMG! Were these creatures smart? Then suddenly it began to move, probably hoping
to explore the rest of the Hacienda Del Dorado. Ugh my heart. It eventually turned around and began to continue
mapping the edges of its watery domain. Now it’s said that the minimum requirement
for an axolotl is 10 gallons and the Golden Springs, now with most of its substrate removed
was about 10 gallons, more wide than tall, but I surely began to feel guilty keeping
it within the said minimum required space. What do you guys think? Anyway, it continued to look around at the
world beyond the Golden Spring’s pool. For now, I was going to let it settle in to
its new home where it would take up the task of feeding on drowned members of the Golden
Empire. I watched our white aquadragon for one last
moment as it retreated towards the back to retire for sleep. The next morning, I came to visit the Hacienda
Del Dorado, and could see our white aquadragon from a mile away against that dark substrate,
and strangely, I believe it also saw me coming. It turned to face me as soon as I walked through
the door! Ugh my heart! Why was I feeling guilty for keeping it the
Golden Springs? I felt like it needed something bigger. Well, the good thing was the axolotl seemed
a lot more settled in now, and also appeared to be less stressed and a nicer colour. Also the water had cleared up quite nicely,
the black sands now visible, with all that biofilm from the night before probably settled
in our filter and crevices within the waterscape to do its job at neutralizing our axolotl’s
waste. Now get this, AC Family, another great thing
I noticed was its tail had healed nicely overnight! This is actually one of the most amazing features
about axolotls. They’re super healers! Surprisingly axolotls don’t heal by scarring,
but are capable of regenerating entire lost appendages in a period of months, and, in
certain cases, more vital structures like parts of their brains. Isn’t that amazing?! They can also readily accept transplants from
other individuals, including eyes and parts of the brain, restoring these alien organs
to full functionality. It’s pretty mind-blowing if you think about
it! Now as I watched the axolotl pace around its
living space, I wondered if it was perhaps hungry. It was hard to tell if it was eating ants
or if simply didn’t have a taste for them. There were no more dead ant bodies along the
floor, so could that mean it could have eaten them overnight? But just in case our white aquadragon was
hungry, I decided to give it a house warming gift anyway, as is our AC tradition. Here I had some thawed, frozen bloodworms,
an apparent axolotl favourite. I dropped some into the Golden Springs, and
the blood worms fell straight to the bottom. I instantly knew the axolotl could smell them
as suddenly bam! Some must have floated towards her and she
sucked them up into her mouth. It began to feed happily on the bloodworms,
and when it was done, it moved over to continue ant watching. Speaking of which, the Golden Empire was back
with business as usual. Check them out! They were as busy as ever reconstructing tunnels
and ant hills within the new rich soils, and by the way, do you recognize where this new
soil came from? Ten points if you can tell where in the comments. Now with all the ants now back to frequenting
the Golden Springs, back to traveling their usual trails around the waters, to collect
a drink and distribute the waters within their bodies to all members of the colony, there
was now an added pressure for our white aquadragon to fulfill its task as water cleaner, as effectively
as our former Sapphire Emperor had during his term in the Golden Springs. Which brings me now to me dilemma, AC Family! Here’s where I need your help. What should we do? Do you think this axolotl was a good choice
for our Golden Springs? Although the axolotl does seem happy, a part
of me is starting to doubt this choice for a water beast, because even if the Golden
Springs are the alleged minimum required space, I still get the sense this area is too small,
plus I have yet to actually see if it is eating the dead ants. To be fair, it’s only been a few days and
I plan on keeping a good eye on our white aquadragon here, feeding it bloodworms daily,
but I’d love to know what you guys think? Should we rehome this axolotl and replace
it with perhaps another crayfish? If you do think we should give this axolotl
a chance in the Golden Springs, what should we name it? Let me know your thoughts in the comments
section, AC Family. As always you determine the fate of the inhabitants
of the Golden Empire, and ultimately, the Antiverse. I love these ants and want what’s best for
them, including clean drinking water free of the poisons generated by any drowned bodies. The lives of the Golden Empire and this new
axolotl lay in your hands. Like a massive ant colony ourselves, I believe
collectively we’ll be able to make the right choice. It’s ant love forever! Alright AC Family, did you enjoy this week’s

Week! Last week we asked: Name one reason why having
a large colony is advantageous in the ant world. Congratulations to Smunstu Stinkymonster who
correctly answered: With a larger colony, the workers are much
more efficient at their various tasks like foraging,
keeping the nest clean, and feeding the young. Congratulations, Smunstu Stinkymonster, you
just won a free e-book handbook from our shop! In this week’s AC Question of the Week, we
ask: What neat special ability does
the axolotl possess? Leave your answer in the comments section
and you could also win a free e-book handbook from our shop! Hope you can subscribe to the channel as we
upload every Saturday at 8AM EST. Please remember to LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE, and

Queenie gets puzzled after getting rid of the infected beings | Parasite Island (With Eng Subs)

When the Golden Leech
disappears, so will this plague. This Golden Leech
uses a person as a host. And that person is
spreading these leeches all over our island. It looks like the
Golden Leech gave birth and the leeches spread
to the other people. Like an epidemic. It’s contagious
and spreads rapidly. The end of man is near. The day will come when
El Cuerpo will be filled with Leech People,
as will the world. Whoever is carrying
this Golden Leech, we need to find and kill them. According to Andong, the leeches
obey the Golden Leech. Yes. When the Golden Leech
came out the hole, the other leeches followed. When the Golden Leech gets hurt,
so do the other leeches. The leeches love
the Golden Leech. If the Golden Leech dies,
so will all the other leeches. But how will we find
the Golden Leech host? Who are they? I pray that Sunshine will be
with you when you come back. I hope so. Jessie, I want to come.
I can help. Janelle, it’s too dangerous. Jessie is right.
You’ll be safer here with Mama. Sunshine’s my daughter too and
I’m going crazy waiting here so I’m coming whether
you like it or not. Be careful. Can you believe this? They put me on guard duty. Me! If I wasn’t trying to impress
Mama dear, I wouldn’t do this. True. I also got
dragged into this. Do I have to be here?
You don’t need me, do you? Are you complaining?
Do you want to stay here alone? You wouldn’t do that
to your friend. We’re in this together! What are you looking at? You think I’m pretty? Danger. Do you think that crazy guy
is telling the truth? About the queen leech? How could you believe him?
He’s crazy. How could they believe
his bogus stories? Those fools. They said the queen
can control her minions. She can control
all the leeches. Some power, right? Maybe they need help. Come inside. We’ll help you. Please open the door. This way. Nurse, we have a new patient. Okay. Bring her inside. I’ll help her to the bed. You need to lie down.
Careful. Here we go. Miss? Are you okay? What’s happening? Stop! Leave! – Ma’am.
– Whitney. She followed your command. What is it about you? The leeches follow the
command of the queen. Those leeches love
the golden leech. My god. Is it me? Did the golden leech
enter my body?
