Hello and welcome to a new episode of CockroachTV This time to something different because: 5 roach facts that you might not have known yet Fact Number 1: Cockroaches are real Dinosaurs, they looked the same 300 million years ago. That’s when Trilobytes went extinct Fact Number 2: There are 4600 different roach species, if you compare them to the beetles with 400k species then you know it’s a fairly small group of insects Fact Number 3: Macropanesthia rhinoceros is with 35-50 grams the heaviest roach in the world Just when we’re talking about units of measurements, here’s the 4th fact Megaloblatta longipennis is the largest roach species in the world It measures from head to tip of its wing end 3.9 inches and a wing span of 7.8 inches Now to the last fact of today: Eurycotis opaca The Marzipan Roach gives out an odor that resembles Marzipan. Ok that was obvious.   1. Man weis doch gar nicht genau wie viele Schabenarten es wirklich gibt. Manche schätzen die Anzahl der Arten auch auf über 6000 arten weil vielleicht noch längst nicht alle entdeckt sind

    ich habe eine Frage zu Blaptica Dubia.
    Kann ich eine oder 2 Schaben in einem kleinen Terrarium halten? Paarung möchte ich eh keine also…:)
